Perma-Pipe ME is a wholly owned subsidiary of Perma-Pipe Inc and specializes in design and manufacture of insulated piping systems for District cooling, Oil and Gas industries. The ICT team at Permapipe wanted to overcome the challenges of branch office users being unable to access applications over the WAN, limited band-width connectivity and data back-up consolidation. Permapipe went ahead to implement Riverbed Steelhead appliances at its data centre and branch offices and achieved a 5-7 times improvement in the file download speeds.
